The theme this is year is Thorny Passages in the Bible. Our Evensong preachers will explore ways of carefully dealing with the parts of Scripture that are hard to handle, this will then form the basis of our Lent Discussion Groups which we hope will have a mix of participants from our team of churches.
The sessions this week will focus on the first Evensong Sermon, delivered by the Rev Lesley Charlton, Minister of Kingston United Reformed Church on February 22nd on the theme of Mystifying Parables.
