All Saints Church Kingston is a Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Kingston town centre which is within easy reach of central London, and a short distance from Kingston train station.
It boasts a stunning location close to the riverside and provides a truly memorable setting for your event. It features soaring columns and wonderful architectural features, with atmospheric light from the stained glass windows which makes for a dramatic and unique venue.
All Saints is a flexible space which you can use as a blank canvas to create your own bespoke reception or other event. The church can be hired as a whole for large events, or for smaller events you can hire certain areas (see below for details), all enquiries considered.
To help us with your hire enquiry please see information below before emailing us with brief details of your event. Thank you.
The East End: is a large semi-open space which is approximately 195sq. m/2099sqft. it makes for a unique setting which can be separated from the central crossing and nave (main church) by ornate metal gates which are easily closed. On the far east wall there is an area designated for the seven Saxon King embroideries. The East End is set out for café use with tables and chairs and has a useful servery. The East End is an ideal setting for smaller receptions, parties and memorials as well as acoustic concerts.
The Heritage Gallery (Choir Vestry): is a separate room to the northwest of the church with wooden flooring and panelled wooden sliding doors housing an extensive music library and choir robes, hence the name. The vaulted ceiling and church windows make this a unique space which is airy and flexible suitable for meetings with its newly installed AV system (Aug 24), smaller intimate parties and receptions or as an additional area for larger events in the main church. Capacity: 25-30 around table/s 30+ concert (theatre) style.
The Holy Trinity Chapel: This is a small separate chapel which seats approximately 20 people, suitable for small services. The chapel is dedicated to the East Surrey Regiment.
Exhibitions:
- the nave – there are two walls which can be hired for exhibitions. Any work would need to be hung on picture rails via standard brass picture hooks. Slimline lighting strip runs the length of the picture rail to highlight our banners or your exhibition.
- other areas in the church – such as the central crossing, east end and Heritage Gallery may be considered for exhibitions if it does not cause obstruction or disrupt the daily ebb and flow of church life.
- the church grounds – exhibitions can be held in the church grounds. The pathways lend themselves beautifully to lead people around the church viewing either large sculptural works, photography or banner art work.
Grounds: during certain times of the year the grounds are available to hire. All enquiries are welcome.
